Admit it, you didn't even realize Equatorial Guinea had a soccer team. It's ok, you're likely not alone on that and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Chances are many of the Spain players didn't realize it either, but they indeed have a national team and Spain will face them in a friendly on Saturday.
Easily the most interesting thing about the game is the fact that several Spanish players, mostly notably Sergio Ramos, have make their feelings known about Spain's consistent heavy travel for friendlies. As you might have guessed, they're not thrilled.
Spain will simply be looking to work on their form and stay healthy having already secured a spot in Brazil next summer. Atlético Madrid striker Diego Costa was supposed to make his debut for Spain in this match but was forced out with a leg injury.
In other news Spain will be showing off their fancy new kits as well.
