Netherlands vs. Colombia: Preview and TV schedule

Christopher Lee

There's an intriguing-looking friendly in Amsterdam on Tuesday, with an in-form Netherlands hosting Colombia.

Despite not really being touted as  seriouschallengers for next year's World Cup, the Netherlands are currently on a pretty impressive unbeaten streak, stretching back well over a year. They face one of their biggest tests yet on Tuesday, as Colombia hit Amsterdam on the back of their victory against the Oranje's low country neighbours, Belgium.

Los Cafeteros, on the other hand, have been bigged up a lot, though so far have been justifying the hype with their impressive results. The likes of Juan Cuadrado, James Rodríguez and Radamel Falcao have been thrilling to watch, and could cause the Dutch defence problems on Tuesday. The hosts will be without injured defensive duo Jetro Willems and Bruno Martins Indi, though their South American visitors have a full-strength team available.

Projected lineups

Netherlands: Tim Krul; Daley Blind, Stefan de Vrij, Ron Vlaar, Gregory van der Wiel; Kevin Strootman, Nigel de Jong, Jonathan de Guzmán; Rafael van der Vaart, Jeremain Lens, Arjen Robben.

Colombia: Faryd Mondragón; Pablo Armero, Luis Perea, Cristián Zapata, Santiago Arias; James Rodríguez, Carlos Sánchez, Fredy Guarín, Juan Cuadrado; Víctor Ibarbo, Radamel Falcao.
