Zenit St. Petersburg vs. FC Porto: Preview and TV schedule

Currently locked in a close battle for second place in Group G, Zenit St. Petersburg and Porto face off in Russia on Wednesday.

Zenit St. Petersburg's game at home to Porto on Wednesday is one of the most significant of the Champions League matchday. That's because Zenit are currently just a point ahead of their Portuguese opponents, currently occupying the second and final knockout qualification spot in Group G. With Atlético Madrid running away with the group, this game will go a long way to deciding who will join them in the round of 16.

It was Zenit who emerged victorious from the reverse fixture, albeit by a narrow 1-0 scoreline. However, they're without a few important players for Wednesday's match, with Axel Witsel, Igor Smolnikov and Tomáš Hubočan all out through suspension. For Porto, Héctor Herrera is also suspended.
