Chelsea vs. Crystal Palace: Preview and TV schedule

Bryn Lennon

Relegation strugglers Crystal Palace go in search of their third consecutive victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Say what you like (or most probably dislike) about Tony Pulis, but he sure knows how to coach a football team. Crystal Palace have gone from relegation certainties to having a reasonable chance of survival in the space of a few weeks, having seen off West Ham, Cardiff and Hull in their last four Premier League games. Heading into the weekend, they're in the relegation zone by goal difference alone.

Unfortunately it's unlikely that they'll manage to keep their run going away at Stamford Bridge, though they've given themselves a fighting chance. Chelsea have won all but one of their home matches in the Premier League this season, and could slash the advantage of league leaders Arsenal if the Gunners drop points in the early kickoff against Manchester City.

What's more, Chelsea boss José Mourinho only has one early injury concern, with Marco van Ginkel still sidelined with his long-term knee problem. For Palace, Jack Hunt, Adlène Guédioura, Glenn Murray, Jerome Thomas and Paddy McCarthy are set to miss out, while Dean Moxey is doubtful with a hamstring injury.
