The hosts

Jimmy Conrad (@jimmyconrad)

Jimmy Conrad was widely regarded as one of the best defenders in Major League Soccer for his 13 years as a professional before retiring in 2011. His honors include being named captain of the U.S. Men's National Team on multiple occasions, playing in the 2006 World Cup and 2007 Copa America, being named MLS Defender and Humanitarian Of The Year, and garnering five selections to the MLS All-Star team. In lieu of his retirement, which you can read about here, Jimmy has become the very handsome face of KICKTV, YouTube's #1 channel for the beautiful game. He would also like to note that he dominates at Yahtzee and has great hair.

Layla Anna-Lee (@Laylaloves)

Layla, the Brazilian born, London-based football lover is known for her unique perspective and stories surrounding the beautiful game. Layla was the voice of the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony and blogs on and OK People. She is featured on YouTube series TRM, KICKTV's weekly soccer entertainment show discussing the latest news and rumors and recently covered the 2013 Confederations Cup in Brazil.

Matt Ufford (@mattufford)

Matt is a writer for SB Nation and video host for SB Nation Studios. Prior to his internet career, he served as a tank officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, which adequately prepared him for the glamorous lifestyle of a sports blogger. He is the founder of several successful blogs for the UPROXX network, and his writing has also appeared on GQ, Gawker, The Awl, Deadspin, The Classical, and elsewhere. He enjoys Twitter and yelling at the TV.
