Swansea City vs. Hull City: Preview and TV schedule

Matthew Lewis

Monday's Premier League game sees some mid-table madness at the Liberty Stadium, with Swansea playing host to Hull.

Swansea City and Hull City are currently separated by just a point in the Premier League's mid-table, and meet at the Liberty Stadium on Monday evening. The Swans have performed below expectations so far this season, while Hull have punched way above their weight after only winning promotion from the Championship a few months ago.

Swansea will look to build on the 3-0 drubbing they gave Newcastle United last week, in what was only their second home win of the season. They put three past the Magpies despite not having a nominal striker on the field, with Álvaro Vázquez going off due to injury and joining Wilfried Bony and Michu on the sidelines. The face the same attacking conundrum this weekend, with Álvaro and Bony definitely out, and Michu unlikely to recover from his ankle problem.

As for Hull, they come into this match on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, though the 3-1 win over Liverpool which preceded defeat to the Gunners should mean confidence is still high. They'll be looking to improve on their away form, with the Tigers having lost all but one of their matches on the road so far this season. They'll be without Stephen Quinn, Sone Aluko and Paul McShane through injury.

Swansea City injuries and suspensions

Out: Álvaro Vázquez (groin), Àngel Rangel (calf), Garry Monk (knee), Wilfried Bony (hamstring). In doubt: Michu (ankle).

Hull City injuries and suspensions
