Soccer viewing guide, 2/11: Digging deep not required on Monday

Alex Livesey

If you're jonesing for some soccer early in the day, you're out of luck, but there's plenty of decent stuff to keep you occupied on Monday afternoon and evening.

There are soccer games every single day, all over the world. There are so many that it's hard to keep track, and yet, lots of you sit around wondering whether or not there are any games for you to watch. Thankfully, there's a big crew of nerds here who can tell you whether or not games from random corners of the earth are worth your time, so we're going to write about them every morning.

The most obvious game on Monday's schedule is, in fact, the best one. There's not much to challenge Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion for game of the day. You can catch that on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes and Watch ESPN in the United States, as well as TSN in Canada and Sky Sports 1 in the U.K.

At night, Lanus and Colon are probably worth watching. Predicting who's going to contend for a title in Argentina is always a crap shoot, but Lanus has a solid squad and might end up finishing pretty high in the table. It's been a long time since they've managed to put everything together and win a title, but it's a new season, so as always, this year might be their year.
