Mathieu Valbuena and Laurent Koscielny start for France as they look to continue their good form against Germany.
Valbuena is something of a surprise inclusion ahead of Jeremy Menez, while Koscielny is preferred to partner Mamadou Sakho rather than Newcastle defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa. Three of his magpies teammates start, however, with Mathieu Debuchy, Moussa Sissoko and Yohan Cabaye all in the starting lineup.
Germany meanwhile opt for Ilkay Gundogan in their double-pivot at the expense of Toni Kroos, with Sami Khedira his midfield partner. Lukas Podolski starts ahead of Andre Schurrle on the left wing, with Thomas Muller on the right. Benedikt Howedes also starts at left-back in the absence of Marcel Schmelzer.
France (4-3-3): Hugo Lloris; Mathieu Debuchy, Laurent Koscielny, Mamadou Sakho, Patrice Evra; Yohan Cabaye, Blaise Matuidi, Moussa Sissoko; Mathieu Valbuena, Franck Ribery; Karim Benzema.
Germany (4-2-3-1): Rene Adler; Philipp Lahm, Per Mertesacker, Mats Hummels, Benedikt Höwedes; Sami Khedira, Ilkay Gündogan; Thomas Müller, Mesut Özil, Lukas Podolski; Mario Gomez.
