I'm sure most USMNT fans will not be all that excited about the goal given the context but even the most ardent supporters of the red, white and blue should admit that's an extraordinary effort.
I think the best part of the video, apart from the goal of course, is the smirk on the face of Los Catrachos head coach Luis Fernando Suárez. He's got one of those "yeah, that was pretty great" looks on his face. There's probably some relief as well that his side bounced back from falling behind earlier thanks to a goal from Clint Dempsey.
Whatever your feelings, it was a heck of a goal.
