Liverpool are surging at the right time as consecutive dominating clean sheet wins over Swansea and Wigan have the Red within striking distance of a European spot. There's still plenty of ground to be made up for Brendan Rodgers' team but a win over Spurs could give them a huge boost. It would also prove their recent form has more to do with their play than their opponents poor quality.
The mission is fairly straightforward for Spurs and Andre Villas-Boas. If they want to continue their 12 match unbeaten run in the league, they'll need to shut down, or at least limit, Luis Suarez. When the Uruguayan striker is on, Liverpool have been tough to beat this season.
Last week's massive North London Derby win have Spurs full of confidence and dreaming of a Top 3 finish. If they want to hold off Chelsea, they need to be getting points, preferably maximum points, from games like this.
