Update - Match report: Barcelona 4-0 AC Milan, final score
Where has this Barcelona team been the last couple weeks? The passing looks better, the aggression is there...the defense is still scary though. Messi's early goal and a ton of close calls have Milan on their heels after 15 minutes.
Milan were able to get a counter attack chance in the 9th minute but the chance was wasted by Stephan El Shaarawy. The entire build-up looked eerily similar to Milan's chances in the first match and likely caused Barca supporter's hearts to skip a beat.
Barcelona were denied a penalty in the 11th minute as Ignazio Abate got away with a bit of clumsy challenge against Pedro Rodriguez. The pressure continued two minutes later when Andres Iniesta launched a wicked volley that was someone paried away by Christian Abbiati. Messi was all over the rebound but his header went into the side netting.
How long can AC Milan stand-up to this attacking assault?
