After drawing 1-1 in Istanbul, Schalke 04 looked to be in the driver's seat for a place in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals. But a serious injury to star striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar over the weekend has put this result in rather a lot of doubt, and the Germans will have to make do with Finnish forward Teemu Pukki in his place.
Galatasary's stars are all taking the field, and Didier Drogba in particular will be very pleased to make his return to German, the site of Champions League triumph for him with Chelsea last season. He's not the only threat on the pitch for the visitors, though -- Aydin Yilmaz has been hugely impressive and Wesley Sneijder will be pulling the strings behind the strikers.
Neither team played impressive defence in the first leg of this clash, and if this match is as wide-open as the last contest Schalke's slender away-goal lead probably won't count for much.
