Czech Republic vs. Denmark, 2014 World Cup qualifying: Preview and TV schedule

Christof Koepsel

The Czech Republic is just a point out of second place in the group and will welcome back Tomas Rosicky for their match against Denmark.

Denmark and the Czrch Republic meet in Olomouc with both teams looking to get their qualifying campaigns back on track.

Denmark have struggled mightily in three games, managing no wins and only two points. The Czechs aren't doing much better but none the less sit only a point behind Bulgaria for second place in the group. These two teams played to a scoreless draw on September 8th in their group stage opener.

Tomas Rosicky has returned for the Czechs are a long-term injury kept him out for Arsenal and his national team. His return should give the team a boost. Milan Baros was not called up due to fitness issues.

Denmark will be without striker Nicklas Bendtner who is serving a six-month ban from the Danish Football Association in connection to his drunk driving charge.

Match Date/Time: 8:30 p.m. local, 3:30 p.m. ET

Venue: Andrův Stadium, Olomouc, Czech Republic
