Brazil vs. Russia: Lineups

Clive Mason

Russia's Fabio Capello has continued his experiment with an internationally inexperienced side, while Scolari has shuffled his Brazil team from the friendly against Italy.

Fabio Capello has set his side up in a 4-4-2, in a team with not too many greatly experienced international players, and without too many household names. He has stuck with Aleksandr Kokorin in attack -- a player who opened his international scoring account against Israel in a World Cup qualifier last September -- while central midfielder Viktor Fayzulin continues to be preferred in the centre of midfield, despite only having a handful of caps to his name.

For Brazil, Luiz Felipe Scolari has shuffled around his starting eleven from the friendly against Italy last Thursday - Thiago Silva and Marcelo have come into defence, while Kaká starts in place of Hulk. Filipe Luis and Dante don't start.

Russia lineup (4-4-2): Vladimir Gabulov; Andrei Eschenko, Vasili Berezutski, Sergei Ignashevich, Aleksandr Anyukov; Vladimir Bystrov, Viktor Fayzulin, Roman Shirokov, Denis Glushakov; Aleksandr Kerzhakov, Aleksandr Kokorin

Brazil lineup (4-2-3-1): Júlio César; Marcelo, David Luiz, Thiago Silva, Dani Alves; Hernanes, Fernando; Oscar, Kaká, Neymar; Fred
