After yesterday's Clasico, La Liga still had plenty to offer today as Atletico Madrid blew a chance to close within nine points of Barcelona. Mallorca got a big win, while Espanyol and Valladolid bored everyone to death. Real Sociedad and Real Betis played to a wild 3-3 draw.
Granada 1-2 Mallorca

Atletico were unable to jump on the rebound after Caballero fumbled the save.

Betis took the lead in the 29th minute thanks to Jorge Molina but the real fireworks didn't start until the second half. In the 49th minute Pabon doubled Betis' advantage finishing off a through ball from Beñat with a close range tap-in.
Then Sociedad roared back with two goals in five minutes from Iñigo Martínez and Carlos Vela to pull Soceidad even at 2-2. Xabi Prieto scored on a penalty in the 62nd minute and it looked as it Betis was going to blow all the points after having a two-goal advantage.
Pabon came to the rescue four minutes after penalty, tying the game and earning a deserved point for Betis.
