Arsenal vs. Everton: Preview and TV schedule

Mike Hewitt

Arsenal can further their chances of Champions League qualification against an Everton team still in with a chance of qualifying for Europe.

Arsenal have now won four games straight, with their recent victory over Norwich City enough to see them move above Chelsea and Tottenham into third place -- albeit only by a point, and with Chelsea still having a game in hand on the Gunners.

A win at home to Everton would help them greatly in their Champions League charge, though is easier said than done. David Moyes' team haven't given up on qualifying for Europe themselves, only four points behind Arsenal after winning four of their last five league games. Still, they've only won away from Goodison Park once this year -- the same amount of games Arsenal have lost at the Emirates since the start of 2013.

For the Toffees, only Tony Hibbert is definitely unavailable, out through to lack of match fitness. Arsenal will be without Abou Diaby after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament, and Łukasz Fabiański and Tomáš Rosický are both in doubt with slight injuries.

Fabiański's injury will probably see Wojciech Szczęsny retake his position in goal, while Per Mertesacker will return from suspension, likely displacing Thomas Vermaelen.
