Manchester City vs. West Ham United: Preview and TV schedule

Shaun Botterill

With all title hopes now over, Manchester City will be looking to secure second place with a win against mid-table West Ham.

Manchester City's title hopes ended as Manchester United capitalised on City's 3-1 defeat away at Tottenham last weekend to win against Aston Villa and seal the Premier League crown. Now with a buffer of five points inside the top two, City can move one step closer to sealing second place.

They take on a West Ham side which is currently sitting tenth. Realistically with very little chance of being relegated, Sam Allardyce's side are on an unbeaten run of five games, though have struggled on the road this year, having picked up only five points from eight away games since the start of 2013. Only title winners United have toppled City at the Etihad.

City have David Silva and James Milner doubtful with slight injuries, though Sergio Agüero should be fit after he was unavailable for the defeat to Tottenham. As for West Ham -- whose last match was a 2-0 win over Wigan -- James Tomkins and George McCartney are the only absentees.
