Late strikes from Arturo Vidal and Claudio Marchisio settled matters in the pouring rain. Kamil Glik saw red for the second consecutive Turin derby and it's now eight consecutive games that Torino have failed to find the net against their neighbours.
Torino are now just four points clear of the relegation trap door and face a tricky trip to the San Siro to face AC Milan next weekend, while Juventus entertain Palermo, who are hot on the Granata's tails.
Juve put their hosts under the cosh from the first whistle. Paul Pogba released Mirko Vucinic on 11 minutes and the Montenegrin really should have done better as he dragged his shot wide.
Vucinic and Pogba were both denied from close-range as the ball ping-ponged around the Torino box. Gianluigi Buffon was called into action three minutes before the break, tipping Mario Santana's 25-yard curler over the bar.
Torino were denied a late penalty after Leonardo Bonucci's tug on Jonathas went unpunished. Juventus then hit the front in the 87th minute. Vidal's half-volley beat Jean-Francois Gillet to nestle into the bottom corner of the net to cue jubilant scenes on the Juve bench.
Glik was given his marching orders for a second bookable offence, before Marchisio volleyed in a second after Andrea Pirlo's free kick was headed back into the area and put on a plate for the midfielder.
