Mats Hummels and Jakub Blaszczykowski are absent for Borussia Dortmund, but Marcel Schmelzer returns to the side, while Malaga line up as expected.

Borussia Dortmund will have to face Malaga without Mats Hummels or Jakub Blaszczykowski as both are out of the side with injuries.

Felipe Santana and Kevin Großkreutz come into the side as respective replacements, although Marcel Schmelzer is ready to play despite suffering a facial injury. Sebastian Kehl is surprisingly preferred to Sven Bender in midfield, with Nuri Sahin also relegated to the bench in place of Ilkay Gundogan.

Malaga, meanwhile, line up as expected with Javier Saviola the choice to lead their line, with Julio Baptista in behind. Jeremy Toulalan and Manuel Iturra comprise the central midfield for the hosts.

Malaga starting line-up (4-4-1-1): Willy Caballero; Jesús Gámez, Martin Demichelis, Weligton (C), Antunes; Joaquín, Jeremy Toulalan, Manuel Iturra, Isco; Julio Baptista; Javier Saviola

Borussia Dortmund starting line-up (4-2-3-1): Roman Weidenfeller; Marcel Schmelzer, Felipe Santana, Neven Subotić, Lukas Piszczek; Sebastian Kehl, Ilkay Gündoğan; Kevin Großkreutz, Mario Götze, Marco Reus; Robert Lewandowski.
