AS Roma vs. Lazio: Lineups

Paolo Bruno

Roma switch to a new formation, while Miroslav Klose starts up front for Lazio.

AS Roma coach Aurelio Andreazzoli has opted to change his team's formation ahead of their Rome derby clash with Lazio, dropping the three-man defence in favour of a 4-3-1-2. Miralem Pjanić starts behind the attacking duo of captain Francesco Totti and Erik Lamela, while Alessandro Florenzi drops deeper in midfield alongside Daniele De Rossi and Michael Bradley.

As for Lazio, their most notable inclusion is that of their talismanic striker Miroslav Klose, while there are few surprises elsewhere. Having toyed with a three-man defence himself at times this season, Vladimir Petković looks set to try to contain Roma and play on the counter-attack with a defensively disciplined 4-1-4-1.

Roma (4-3-1-2): Maarten Stekelenburg; Marquinho, Leandro Castán, Marquinhos, Vasilis Torosidis; Alessandro Florenzi, Daniele De Rossi, Michael Bradley; Miralem Pjanić; Francesco Totti, Erik Lamela

Lazio (4-1-4-1): Federico Marchetti; Ștefan Radu, Lorik Cana, Giuseppe Biava, Álvaro González; Cristian Ledesma; Senad Lulić, Hernanes, Ogenyi Onazi, Antonio Candreva; Miroslav Klose
