Suspensions (convenient and otherwise) have effected both side's lineups as Jose Mourinho and Fatih Terim have been forced to make adjustments with key players unavailable.
Galatasaray's only two changes are due to suspensions. Striker Burak Yilmaz has been replaced by Umut Bulut while Gökhan Zan takes over in the central defender for Dany Nounkeu. Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder both start, as you might expect.
Sergio Ramos and Xabi Alonso are both suspended, so Jose Mourinho has made a couple adjustments. Pepe's status was in doubt leading up to this match, but he's recovered enough to get the start alongside Raphael Varane in the defense. Luka Modric gets the start in the midfield in place of Alonso and Gonzalo Higuain starts up front, after starting the first leg on the bench.
Galatasaray starting lineup (4-3-1-2): Fernando Muslera; Emmanuel Eboue, Semih Kaya, Gökhan Zan, Albert Riera; Felipe Melo, Hamit Altıntop, Selçuk Inan; Wesley Sneijder; Didier Drogba, Umut Bulut.
Real Madrid starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Diego López; Michael Essien, Raphael Varane, Pepe, Fabio Coentrao; Sami Khedira, Luka Modric; Angel di Maria, Mesut Özil, Cristiano Ronaldo; Gonzalo Higuain.
