Real Sociedad are back in fourth place but thanks to their second straight poor result they've seen their five point lead over Valencia evaporate and now Real are only ahead on goal differential. Real led into second half stoppage time thanks to goals from Imanol Agirretxe and Gonzalo Castro, but Recio's 93rd minute equalizer allowed Granada to steal a point.
Real took an early lead when Agirretxe's free kick from the right side was met by Castro who headed the ball on past Roberto in the 8th minute. Granada fought back eight minutes later thanks to a deflection of Gabriel Torje's long distance strike that sent the ball right to Youssef El Arabi who rocketed the ball by Claudio Bravo.
Agirretxe put Real back ahead late in the first half, finishing off Carlos Vela's cross from the left wing with an excellent finish as he chested down the ball at close range and scored.
Real held the lead until the 93rd minute when Recio scored on a solid effort from just inside the area to pull Granada even at 2-2.
It's an important point for Granada who now move four points clear of the drop zone with just three weeks left to play in La Liga.
