USA vs. Honduras: Lineups

USA TODAY Sports

Honduras has been forced to play a makeshift back line while the United States has brought back the two starters that were missing from the win over Panama.

The United States has shuffled their lineup around in the absence of DaMarcus Beasley, who is suspended. Fabian Johnson moves from left midfield to left back, with Graham Zusi taking his attacking midfield spot, though Eddie Johnson will likely switch from the right to the left to occupy the new left back's vacated spot. Jermaine Jones has returned from a concussion and starts over Geoff Cameron. Honduras has recently switched from a 4-4-2 to a 4-3-3 formation. Carlo Costly starts up top and youngster Andy Najar gets a start on the right. Los Catrachos are down two first choice players in defense.

United States lineup (4-2-3-1): Tim Howard; Fabian Johnson, Matt Besler, Omar Gonzalez, Brad Evans; Jermaine Jones, Michael Bradley; Eddie Johnson, Clint Dempsey, Graham Zusi; Jozy Altidore

Honduras lineup (4-3-3): Noel Valladares; Emilio Izaguirre, Jose Velasaquez, Juan Montes, Olin Peralta; Jorge Claros, Wilson Palacios, Roger Espinoza; Mario Martinez, Carlo Costly, Andy Najar

The match kicks off at 9 p.m. ET from Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah and can be seen on ESPN.
