MLS 2013, Week 18 preview and fixtures: MLS in June means it'll be a scorcher

Joe Camporeale-US PRESSWIRE

Heat waves across the country will make for some exciting and lively soccer, right?

Drink, drink, wherever you may be, it's MLS in June and hot as mother...

Toronto FC vs. Real Salt Lake

Saturday, 1 p.m. ET - MLS Live

When Toronto plays a team on a six-match win streak, the only question is how much they are going to lose by.

Pick: Salt Lake, 2-0.

Philadelphia Union vs. FC Dallas

Saturday, 5:30 p.m. ET - NBC Sports Network

Philadelphia drew Toronto, beat Columbus, lost to D.C. and then beat New York. You have to applaud their ability to live on both ends of the spectrum.

Pick: Draw, 1-1.

D.C. United vs. Vancouver Whitecaps

Saturday, 7 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Vancouver may be undefeated at home, but they can't do a thing on the road. Not even at D.C.

Pick: D.C., 2-1.

Montreal Impact vs. Colorado Rapids

Saturday, 7 p.m. ET - Univision Deportes

Just get out of the Impact's way.

Pick: Montreal, 2-0.

Sporting Kansas City vs. Columbus Crew

Saturday, 8:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Sporting haven't won a match in league since May 12. Graham Zusi's money bath should comfort him.

Pick: Kansas City, 1-0.

San Jose Earthquakes vs. LA Galaxy

Saturday, 10:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

The Quakes may look at this as a chance to get revenge for last year's eliminate, but last regular season's beat downs of the Galaxy didn't do them any good in the playoffs. Bruce Arena laughs at your regular season.

Pick: Draw, 1-1.

Chivas USA vs. New England Revolution

Saturday, 10:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Juan Agudelo is back. Not poor Chivas, but poor Chivas fans.

Pick: New England, 3-1.

New York Red Bulls vs. Houston Dynamo

Sunday, 2 p.m. ET - ESPN2

Dominic Kinnear still wants to know why the regular season exists. The Red Bulls want to know why the postseason exists.

Pick: New York, 2-0.
