MLS 2013, Week 20 preview and fixtures: Get 'em while you can

It's July, which means MLS is about to change. A lot.

Have you caught up on MLS? You think you have an idea of what the teams are like? You really feel like you know all the players? Good, because it's time for a slew of MLS transfers. Watch these teams you have learned while you can because they will be flipped upside down before long.

Philadelphia Union vs. Chivas USA

Friday, 7:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Cubo Torres was supposed to be the future of Mexico, but that didn't work out so now he'll try to be the future of Chivas USA. Same thing, right?

Pick: Philadelphia, 2-0.

New York Red Bulls vs. Montreal Impact

Saturday, 7 p.m. ET - MLS Live

The Red Bulls know how the swooning Impact feel right now. See: Their entire history.

Pick: Draw, 1-1.

New England Revolution vs. Houston Dynamo

Saturday, 7:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Can we make it an old timers game? Taylor Twellman, Pat Noonan and Steve Ralston for the Revs and Brian Ching, Adrian Serioux and Craig Waibel for the Dynamo. The only rule is Twellman has to wear a shirt that fits him.

Pick: Houston, 2-1.

Sporting Kansas City vs. Toronto FC

Saturday, 8:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Diego Forlan would make this match interesting.

Pick: Kansas City, 2-0.

FC Dallas vs. Real Salt Lake

Saturday, 9 p.m. ET - MLS Live

Winless in six, meet unbeaten in 10.

Pick: Salt Lake 1-0.

San Jose Earthquakes vs. Seattle Sounders

Saturday, 10:30 p.m. ET - MLS Live

The Earthquakes have already won: Chris Wondolowski isn't a total international bust.

Pick: Draw, 1-1.

Portland Timbers vs. LA Galaxy

Saturday, 11 p.m. ET - NBC Sports Network

The past and current, Bruce Arena, versus the future, Caleb Porter.

Pick: LA, 2-1.

Vancouver Whitecaps vs. Chicago Fire

Sunday, 7 p.m. ET - MLS Live

The Fire are going down in flames (bad pun intended).

Pick: Vancouver, 2-0.
