So far this summer, star striker Edinson Cavani has been linked with moves to Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea. The latest rumors allege that Cavani's agent, Pierpaolo Triulzi, is in Paris meeting with Leonardo, sporting director of -- wait, you know this one -- PSG. Of course Paris Saint-Germain were liable to be linked with the Napoli talisman, considering they've got enough money to meet the €63m buyout clause in Cavani's contract.
A Parisian move would force Cavani back out wide, a position he played while with the rosanero and more recently with the Uruguay national side, in order to accomodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Should the transfer pan out, Cavani would also reunite with former teammates Ezequiel Lavezzi, who moved from Napoli last season, as well as Javier Pastore and Salvatore Sirigu, both who left Palermo two seasons ago.
But even while so many clubs try to get a piece of the Uruguayan, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis insists he prefers to keep his star. In other words, there won't be a discount on offer for Cavani -- anyone buying will be paying full price.
