'Chepo' Jose Manuel de la Torre has picked Raul Jimenez and Rafael Marquez Lugo up top in a formation that looks like a 4-3-1-2, with Marco Fabian behind the two strikers. Initially, the team was listed as having three strikers, but Alejandro Castro is playing, not Javier Orozco, as originally listed. He'll likely play as a defensive midfielder, but could also slide into the back line and form a back three with the other defenders.
Panama are without their big star, striker Blas Perez. Between Perez's absence and Mexico's weird lineup, this game could be really bad. It could also be wide open and fun. Since it's approximately a million degrees at the Rose Bowl, our guess is the latter.
