The first leg of the Spanish Super Cup is nearing kick-off at the Vicente Calderón Stadium and we've got lineups for Barca and Atletico.

The annual season opening Spanish Super Cup final that occurs after the season starts begins today with the first of two legs between the Copa del Rey holders Atletico Madrid and the defending league champions Barcelona.

Diego Simeone has made no changes from his lineup on Sunday that defeated Sevilla on Sunday. David Villa and Diego Costa are the attacking duo up front as Villa didn't have to wait long to face off against his old club after making the switch from Barca to Atleti earlierin the summer.

There are two changes for Gerardo Martino from Barca's season opening destruction of Levante as Andres Iniesta and Jordi Alba both get their first starts of the season. Neymar and Cesc Fàbregas are on the bench for the Blaugrana.

Atletico Madrid starting lineup (4-4-2): Thibaut Courtois; Juanfran, João Miranda, Diego Godin, Filipe Luís; Koke, Gabi, Mario Suárez, Arda Turan; Diego Costa, David Villa.

Barcelona starting lineup (4-3-3): Victor Valdés; Dani Alves, Gerard Piqué, Javier Mascherano, Jordi Alba; Xavi, Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta; Alexis Sanchez, Lionel Messi, Pedro Rodriguez.
