Andorra vs. Netherlands, 2014 World Cup qualifying: Preview and TV schedule

Dean Mouhtaropoulos

The Netherlands only managed to draw with Estonia in their last match, but have no excuses for taking anything other than three points from this one.

Andorra is a nation so small that the Estadi Comunal d'Andorra la Vella -- the stadium which will host their World Cup qualifier against the Netherlands on Tuesday evening -- is also used for every one of their first and second division domestic league games. Scattered high between the verdant Pyrenean peaks, the Principality has only ever witnessed its football team win three matches since its first official fixture almost two decades ago.

In that time they've met the Netherlands on five occasions, losing them all and conceding a combined total 19 goals. Though the failure of Louis van Gaal's team to beat Estonia on Friday caused slight embarrassment, failing to win this game would be on a completely different scale. However, the Oranje should have no problems in picking up the three points which would all but assure them World Cup qualification, currently sitting six points clear of Romania at the top of their group. Having scored no goals and with no points, Andorra are bottom.

The Netherlands are without  Georginio Wijnaldum and Rafael van der Vaart through injuries, with said duo replaced by Wesley Sneijder and Adam Maher in van Gaal's squad. However, their most notable absentee is Arjen Robben, who is suspended after a booking against Estonia.

Match Date/Time: Tuesday, 8:30 p.m. local, 2:30 p.m. ET
