A Manchester United supporting groom trolls his new Manchester City supporting in-laws with his wedding toast

Clive Brunskill

Whenever you decide to marry into a family that supports the local rivals of the club you support, it's pretty clear that you should use your wedding toast to troll them.

Videos like the one you're about to enjoy are why the Internet is amazing. Before this strange, inter-connected information super highway was formed, we only heard about great stories like this.

Now, thanks to YouTube, we can witness those glorious moments when a Manchester United supporting groom trolls all his bride's Manchester City supporting family by offering a heartfelt, tearful toast to...Sir Alex Ferguson.

Fortunately the toast was both funny and clever and the groom's new in-laws appear to have senses of humor.

One assumes he know this going in or he wouldn't have dared to throw in this witty little swerve during such a touching moment. Hopefully his new bride has a sense of humor as well because the entire world is now enjoying this moment thanks to the kind soul who recorded it and posted it on the Internet.

Long live the internet! Love live football rivalries!
