Swansea City vs. Manchester City: Preview and TV schedule

Clive Rose

Manchester City should be able to continue their red-hot form away at Swansea City early on Wednesday.

Unfortunately for everyone else, Manchester City seem to have clicked. They haven't lost since a 1-0 defeat to Sunderland in early November, and have won ten of their 11 matches in all competitions since. The Citizens have shaken off their poor away record to move up to within a point of the league leaders Arsenal, and should be able to maintain their great form at Swansea City early on Wednesday.

The Swans have been pretty disappointing so far this season, perhaps struggling to juggle the dual responsibilities of domestic and continental football. Michael Laudrup's side are winless in six in all competitions and have fallen to 11th in the Premier League. With City looking so ominously good, it's hard to see them recording only their third home league win of the season on Wednesday.

They'll still be without three important first teamers, with Michel Vorm, Nathan Dyer and Michu sidelined. If it's any consolation City will still be without their star attacker Sergio Agüero, as well as David Silva and Stevan Jovetić -- though with With Álvaro Negredo and Jesús Navas having looked impressive so far, it probably isn't.

Swansea City injuries and suspensions

Out: Michel Vorm (knee), Nathan Dyer (ankle), Michu (ankle), Garry Monk (knee). In doubt: None.
