AC Milan may be in the middle of a horrible season, but should still be able to pick up three points away in Reggio Emilia on Sunday evening. Their opponents, Sassuolo, are sitting in the bottom three after four straight defeats, with last season's Serie B champions having the worst home record of anyone in the division.
They aren't short on talent -- Luca Marrone, Simone Zaza and Domenico Berardi all young and potentially excellent players. However, their porous defence has conceded an average of over two goals per game so far this season, and with their best centre-backs Francesco Acerbi and Emanuele Terranova still out this weekend, Milan will look to capitalise.
The rossoneri weren't wholly convincing against Atalanta in their last match but still managed to pick up a 3-0 win, moving up to 11th in the table. Star striker Mario Balotelli should return to the starting 11 after illness and will hope to capitalise on the neroverdi's defensive woes, while midfielder Keisuke Honda will likely make his debut from the bench after arriving from CSKA Moscow.
