Stevenage vs. Everton: Preview and TV schedule

Chris Brunskill

Everton should breeze past Stevenage and into the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

Poor Stevenage. When it rains it really pours. Not only are they currently sat rock bottom of the third tier, but they're set to play high-flying Everton in the fourth round of the FA Cup late on Saturday. Barring a huge upset, the Toffees are about to crush Boro's cup run dreams.

Roberto Martínez's side are currently scrapping over a Champions League spot in the Premier League, and aren't likely to take pity on their hosts. Having said that, Everton have already struggled to beat Stevenage once this season, with the dearly departed Marouane Fellaini scoring a stoppage time winner as the Toffees progressed in the League Cup by the skin of their teeth.

For this match, Stevenage will certainly be without goalkeeper Steve Arnold, while former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dean Parrett is unlikely to be involved. Regulars Filipe Morais and François Zoko face late fitness tests, but should be available. Everton have a string of first team players out, though with Martínez likely to have rotated his team anyway, that doesn't matter too much.

Stevenage injuries and suspensions

Out: Steve Arnold. In doubt: Dean Parrett (knee), Filipe Morais (dead leg), François Zoko.

Everton injuries and suspensions

Out: Ross Barkley (toe), Antolín Alcaraz (muscle), Gerard Deulofeu (hamstring), Darron Gibson (knee), Arouna Koné (knee), Steven Pienaar (groin), Séamus Coleman (knock). In doubt: None.
