Chelsea vs. West Ham United: Preview and TV schedule

Mike Hewitt

Chelsea should be able to record their sixth consecutive league victory on Wednesday, as West Ham head for the Bridge.

Chelsea have hit some golden form at the moment, with José Mourinho's side having won seven on the trot in all competitions. They're just a couple of points off the top of the table, and should have more than enough to see off West Ham at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.

The Hammers are currently down in the bottom three on just 18 points, and will be hoping they'll get a boost from Italian arrivals Antonio Nocerino and Marco Borriello -- though it's unlikely either will make the starting 11. Chelsea's new winger Mohamed Salah will also likely get his first taste of English football, though that too will almost certainly be off the bench.

Chelsea only have a couple of certain absentees, with Marco van Ginkel and Fernando Torres still sidelined with knee injuries. West Ham have three players unavailable, with first team regulars Winston Reid, Mohamed Diamé and Joe Cole all out.

Chelsea injuries and suspensions

Out: Marco van Ginkel (knee), Fernando Torres (knee). In doubt: None.
