Barcelona vs. Manchester City: Preview and TV schedule

Clive Brunskill

Manchester City will look to capitalise on Barcelona's recent rough form and overturn a two goal deficit at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

In any ordinary season, the idea of Manchester City coming back from two away goals down at Camp Nou would be unthinkable. Fortunately for Manuel Pellegrini, this isn't an ordinary season. Barça are at present more fallible than they've been in over five years, and have gone down to both Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid in La Liga of late; falling four points adrift of league leaders Real Madrid.

However, Tata Martino's side still have an enormously impressive home record, and aren't likely to let a two-goal lead slip. City may have a better chance at beating them than ever before, but that doesn't mean it's a very strong one. They're hampered by Pellegrini's touchline ban, though they will have star man Sergio Agüero back after he missed the first leg through injury.

Barça have no serious first team injury concerns, with only rotation players sidelined. However, they could be without Andrés Iniesta, who may sit this one out due to personal reasons. City's only definite unavailable player is Martín Demichelis, though that's more of a help than a hindrance. Stevan Jovetić and Matija Nastasić are early doubts.
