Hellas Verona vs. Inter Milan: Preview and TV schedule

Claudio Villa

Inter Milan will look to extend their unbeaten run to six on Saturday, as they visit fellow Europa League hopefuls Hellas Verona.

Inter Milan probably didn't expect to be doing battle for the Europa League places with Hellas Verona at the start of the season, but, as someone once noted, football's a funny old game. The nerazzurri are currently on course for continental qualification, though Verona's costly defeat to Parma last weekend has seen them fall three points adrift of the Emilians and the final Europa League spot.

That should make Saturday's match all the more exciting, even if the Milanese visitors really ought to come away with three points. Verona's form has dipped over the second half of the season, and Walter Mazzarri's side's five-match unbeaten streak suggests Inter have put their recent problems behind them. If the nerazzurri were to come away with a win, they'd move provisionally head of Fiorentina in fourth place.

Hellas will be without both forward Juanito Gómez and defender Alejandro González through injury, though have all of their important first teamers available. The same is true of Inter, though they'll still be without Ricky Álvarez and regular centre-back Juan Jesus, who are injured and suspended respectively.
