Hull vs. Manchester City: Preview and TV schedule

Alex Livesey

City look to get back on the winning track against a Hull team fighting to avoid relegation.

Manchester City have found themselves bounced from two tournaments over the past week and must now re-find their form to remain in the title race. With the second Manchester Derby of the season looming, City must first deal with Hull City.

Things won't be easy though for Manuel Pellegrini's team as leading scorer Sergio Aguero is hurt yet again after again suffering a hamstring injury in the team's loss against Barcelona. City is nine points out of first place but have three games in hand on the leaders Chelsea. While their FA Cup and Champions League dreams are done, they hold their league fate in their own hands.

Hull on the other hand would love nothing more than to trip up City's title hopes and secure three more important points towards their Premier League survival. Steve Bruce's side sit in 13th, five points clear of the drop zone. A nice cushion but certainly not yet safe. With the season winding down, two or three more wins might be enough to keep the Tigers up for another year.
