Cahill doubles Chelsea's lead

Chelsea are coasting into the Champions League quarterfinals, thanks to John Terry and Gary Cahill. The Blues have been well on top throughout the first half of their second leg match against Galatasaray and they finally found an insurance goal late in the first half, with Cahill smashing in a corner. Terry won the initial header, but the goal needed someone else's finishing touch.

Before this goal, Gala could have forced extra time with a goal. Now they have to score twice. Based on how they've played so far, it's tough to see them pulling it off.

Chelsea lead after 4 minutes

Galatasaray probably felt like they had to keep a clean sheet for a while to have a good chance of defeating Chelsea. They lasted all of four minutes. Chelsea already lead the second leg 1-0 thanks to Samuel Eto'o, and Roberto Mancini has a lot of work to do.

The finish was nice, but the real meat here is the work that Eden Hazard and Oscar did to set it up. Also, that was a very characteristically weak attempt at a save by Fernando Muslera.
