Neither Borussia Dortmund or Schalke 04 are going to win the Bundesliga title this season, and while both are likely to qualify for next season's Champions League, there's still some business for them to take care of.
Dortmund currently sit second in the table with 51 points, one point ahead of Schalke who are at 50. Tuesday's latest edition of the Revierderby could give one club a leg up on second place, along with the appropriate amount of bragging rights.
The two big story lines for Tuesday have nothing to do with actual football unfortunately. There will be a large police/security presence at the Westfalenstadion due to some less than model behavior by Dortmund supporters at the last derby.
There's also the issue of the two team's injury list that includes Benedikt Howedes, Felipe Santana, Kyriakos Papadopoulos, Christian Fuchs, Atsuto Uchida, Dennis Aogo, Jan Kirchhoff, Marco Hoeger, Christian Clemens, and Jefferson Farfan out for Schalke. BVB will be without Neven Subotic, Marcel Schmelzer, Sven Bender, Ilkay Guendogan, and Jakub Blaszczykowski.
