The Manchester Derby went just about as expected, with Manchester United turning in a disappointing performance at Old Trafford. Manchester City are now marching towards the top of the table after their 3-0 win.

City wins the Manchester Derby

Manchester City are cruising at Old Trafford, and we can't say that their dominance is unexpected. Edin Dzeko has put the Citizens 2-0 up on Manchester United at Old Trafford with his second goal of the day, this time scored off a corner. United can take pride in the fact that it took him more than 42 seconds to score in the second half.

United's marking was terrible. Not just on Dzeko, but in general. Everyone reacted slowly and the ball could have ended up in the back of the net any number of ways.

It's difficult to see a way back for United. City are cruising.

Manchester City lead the Manchester Derby after just one minute, and it was even worse than it sounds. Manchester United didn't even tough the ball. City kicked off, worked the ball into the box, created multiple chances and hit the post before Dzeko had a tap-in. It was a joke.
