Seydou Keita sets La Liga record with goal in seven seconds

Don't blink.

Can you count to eight?

Try it: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.

In the time you were counting Seydou Keita could score a goal. The fastest goal in La Liga history, to be exact:

Good job, good effort, Almeria.

Seriously.

Despite embarrassing themselves and pretty much anyone who has ever been associated with them, Almeria came back to draw Valencia, 2-2.

But that was before Valencia got the "did something super awesome" bonus point.

Everyone ones about that bonus point. It's in the FIFA rules and everything. Just look at the Laws of the Game, section 9.4:

When a player does something so awesome that you feel the need to thank God for there being YouTube, his team shall be awarded a bonus point. Examples of such awesome things include: goals in under eight seconds, 40-yard volleys, bicycle kick goals and Dimitar Berbatov sprinting and/or smoking a cigarette at the center circle.

Congratulations to Keita and Valencia on their win.
