Diego López, Victor Valdés and Andrés Iniesta dressed up as Spider-Man

Is there a better way to advertise your new film and a cell phone than by putting three of Spanish soccer's biggest stars in Spider-Man outfits? Nope.

When it comes to marketing summer blockbusters, studios will typically do whatever it takes to find ways to promote their film across as many platforms as possible. In Spain, Sony Pictures is doing just that as they prepare to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

This wonderful commercial appeared online last week and features Spider-Man playing Spider-Man in a crazy version of soccer. There's also a cell phone which is part of the point of the ad, but the best part is the identity of who is playing the Spider-Men.

Check it out.

I think there's a couple of handball violations in their game, but I guess we can overlook that.

Just in case you can't identify the participants, that's Real Madrid's Diego López and Barcelona's Victor Valdes...at least in the part of the commercial where they take their masks off. Barca midfielder Andrés Iniesta appears at the end as well, also decked out in his own Spider-Man costume.

So much spandex.
