Saturday's clash between Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund features two top four sides heading in opposite directions. While Dortmund have been on quite the role recently, including 16 out of their last possible 18 points, Leverkusen are in danger of slipping out of the Champions League places if Wolfsburg beat Freiburg this weekend.
That could be why the club felt it necessary to dismiss Sami Hyypiä earlier this month and reappointed Sacha Lewandowski to carry the team through the end of the season. While they already know they'll be losing Sidney Sam this summer to Schalke, missing out on the Champions League could see them potentially lose other key players to their squad in recent seasons.
For BVB, their league campaign is all but over at this point, and they will clinch second place with a win. This may not seem like great thing considering they won the Bundesliga two years in a row recently, but with the way that Bayern Munich stormed through the season, second place is a nice prize.
Both teams are nearly full strength in attack, so goals shouldn't be hard to come by in this one.
