Hatem Ben Arfa has been Pardew'd

Mark Runnacles

Pardew'd.

Newcastle are really bad at football right now. Like eight straight losses bad.

Newcastle are really bad at scoring right now. Like one goal in their last eight matches bad.

It's amazing that they can't manage more goals considering they have a relatively creative player in Hatem Ben Arfa. Sure, he's not a superstar who is going to make them a good attacking team all on his own, but he's inventive and the Magpies' best attacking player on a team short of ideas.

Oh wait, he doesn't get to play?

When you can't score goals, most people think it's a good idea to play their best attacking players.

But Ben Arfa has been Pardew'd. And Ben Arfa is sad about it too.

"I want to help my team and I can’t. It hurts a lot."

You know what also hurts? Having to train with the reserves, which Ben Arfa has been made to do regularly.

Pardew'd.
