The Samba Pack F50 is now six months old and still at the peak of its powers. The boot, redesigned back in November, still holds up well to the ever-increasing competition but as such, it did not need a redesign for the World Cup.
Like the rest of the boots in the Battle Pack, the F50 sports a black-and-white colorway (with gold adidas stripes) but, this time, features spearheads that run from toe to heel, emulating the look of speed even while standing still. All of the goodies on the F50 are back including the (very) lightweight SpeedFoil upper and SpeedTraxion stud configuration.
If you were wondering about Lionel Messi, don't worry. He gets his own special colorway. Messi's boots feature an entirely different pattern with a thick blue stripe running up the center of the boot. The laces and tongue are both blue while the inside of the heel features Messi's number 10.
