The Netherlands will try to claim their first World Cup this summer, after coming within an extra-time goal of lifting the trophy in 2010. Head coach Louis van Gaal's initial roster features several mainstays including Robin van Persie, Wesley Sneijder, Dirk Kuyt and Rafael van der Vaart.
Overall, it's pretty much the roster that most expected with the most noticeable absence being Kevin Strootman, who is missing out after undergoing knee surgery in March. With the roster announced, van Gaal will now get to enjoy splitting his time between answering questions about the World Cup, and dealing with the reports he'll take over at Manchester United later this summer.
The Dutch will begin group stage play on June 13 with a rematch of the 2010 final against Spain.
