Fiorentina vs. Napoli, 2014 Coppa Italia Final: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

Giuseppe Bellini

Fiorentina meet Napoli in the final of the Coppa Italia on Saturday.

Both Fiorentina and Napoli had grander ambitions than the Coppa Italia at the start of the season, though have slightly underwhelmed in the league. That means they'll both be keen to make amends and pick up at least some silverware, with Saturday's game at the Olimpico in Rome representing their only remaining chance.

It offers Rafael Benítez his first shot at silverware since taking over Napoli in the summer, while Fiorentina's young coach Vincenzo Montella hasn't won a trophy since lifting the Supercoppa while wearing the jersey of AS Roma back in 2001.

When it comes to cup finals, form often tends to go out of the window, though it's the viola who have the edge heading in. The Tuscans have won three of their last four matches, while the stuttering Neapolitans have won only one of their last four. Fiorentina also won the last time these sides met in the league back in March, yet they're still eight points adrift of Napoli in the Serie A table.

They have Manuel Pasqual and Alessandro Matri back available after suspension, though Juan Cuadrado will in the stands with one-match ban. Giuseppe Rossi, Mario Gómez, Gonzalo Rodríguez and Neto are all in doubt. Napoli have Christian Maggio back after lung surgery, though star striker Gonzalo Higuaín is in doubt with a bruised shin.

Fiorentina injuries and suspensions

Out: Juan Cuadrado (suspended). In doubt: Giuseppe Rossi (knee), Mario Gómez (knee), Gonzalo Rodríguez (illness), Neto (hand).
