Barcelona vs. Getafe: Preview, TV schedule and how to watch online

David Ramos

The mission for Barcelona this week is again to keeping winning, and hope Atlético slips up.

Barcelona's season is once again on the line this week as they face another must win match, this time against Getafe. The Blaugrana sit four points behind Atlético Madrid, needing the league leaders to lose at least once before they come to the Camp Nou on the season's final day. If that doesn't happen, there's nothing Barca can do to catch Atléti.

For now though, all Gerardo Martino and his team can do is try to keep winning matches and hope for a break. Even with several key starters still injured, including Gerard Piqué, Victor Valdés and Neymar, Barca have managed to pul off two straight come from behind wins in the last two weeks.

Getafe sit two points clear of the drop zone, precariously perched ahead of both Almeria and Real Valladolid. A win would go a long way towards securing their safety for next season, though a loss would not be the end of the world. Depending on the results of those other two team's games, Getafe could remain safe for another week even if they fall against Barca.

Barcelona injuries and suspensions

Out: Gerard Pique (hip), Carles Puyol (knee), Jordi Alba (hamstring), Neymar (ankle), Victor Valdés (knee).

Getafe injuries and suspensions

Barcelona's injury list looks much the same as it has for several weeks with four regular starters out injured. Getafe have three players serving red card suspensions, with the latest to join the list being forward Cirprian Marica.
