Vicente del Bosque has made his final roster decisions ahead of the World Cup, cutting his player pool down to 23 on Sunday.
Despite persistent rumors that Juan Mata would miss out on a trip to Brazil, the Manchester United midfielder is on the roster, along with plenty of veterans from Spain's World Cup and Euro 2012 triumphs. Despite concerns about the health of his hamstring, striker Diego Costa will be on the plane to Brazil. Either his recovery is going well, or Del Bosque feels he's worth having on the roster, even if he's not immediately available to play.
Alberto Moreno, Dani Carvajal, Thiago Alcantara, Jesus Navas, Ander Iturraspe, Alvaro Negredo and Fernando Llorente all missed the cut, but can remain available as stand-by options.
Here's the full 23-man roster.
