Spain are reeling after their 5-1 defeat against the Netherlands, and now must recover quickly against a dangerous Chile team who are out to eliminate the defending champions.

After so much success, it was inevitable that Spain would fall back down to Earth eventually. What we didn't foresee was such a spectacular crash. Now comes a test of La Furia Roja's resolve. Do they step up and prove they're still a force to be reckoned with, or do they fade quietly into the Brazilian night? Vicente del Bosque will likely make several changes, with Juanfran and Koke potentially getting chances to start.

Chile started great against Australia, scoring two goals in the opening 15 minutes before allowing the Socceroos to keep it close until stoppage time. Overall, it was a solid performance for La Roja and if they've watched film from Spain's first game, they'll have to like their chances of getting a second group stage win. Arturo Vidal's status remains up in the air for the match, with a decision likely not coming until the lineups are announced.
